Corona Symphony Conservatory

IF YOU ARE A RETURNING STUDENT PLEASE BE SURE TO UPDATE ALL INFORMATION (i.e. age, school, instrument). 

If you are a new student and wish to audition for the Corona Youth Symphony (advanced performance ensemble), auditions will be held on the 27th of August, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM in Suite 190. Please bring your instrument and a piece of music that showcases your skill level best. 

All classes are held on Wednesdays.  Classes begin August 28 and end November 13, 2024. Concert performance is on Wednesday, November 20, 2024. 

Save time by completing your enrollment online in advance. 

Please see below for important information regarding times and details specific to the 1st week of classes only: 

If this student has never attended the Conservatory before:  Please plan to arrive on August 28th at 3:00 for scheduling and placement in Suite 190 (3 doors down from the historic Civic Auditorium).  

If this is a returning student who previously attended classes: Please plan to attend the same class and orchestra schedule UNLESS you have received other instructions from Mrs. Bonner.

If this student was previously in the Prelude Strings Orchestra (3:30 - 4:30):  Please arrive at 3:30 and report directly to the large main Orchestra Rehearsal Room across from Suite 140. These students will have orchestra from 3:30 - 4:30 and then be assigned a class from 4:30 - 5:30. 

If this student was previously in the Circle City Strings Orchestra (4:30 - 5:30): Please arrive at 4:30 for orchestra. Class assignments will be done after orchestra.  

(PLEASE NOTE, many of the students in Circle City Strings will ultimately be placed in a 3:30 lesson, with a 4:30 orchestra time slot.) This schedule is for week #1 only. 

If this student was previously in the Corona Youth Symphony Orchestra: Violin and Viola players from Corona Youth Symphony should report to suite 140 at 4:30 for a skills review.  Your lesson time will be from 4:30 - 5:30.  Orchestra will be from 5:30 - 7:00.   Cello and Bass players from Corona Youth Symphony should report to their regular classrooms at 4:30 in Suite 190. Your lesson time will be from 4:30 - 5:30.  Orchestra will be from 5:30 - 7:00.  Winds and Percussion from Corona Youth Symphony:  Please report directly to the main Orchestra rehearsal room adjacent to Suite 140 for a rehearsal from 5:30 - 7:00.
